The Wise King And the Sparrow- English Moral Stories for Kids

Long ago, there was a good and very wise king named Aarav. He was deeply devoted to his people and ruled his land justly.

On a certain occasion, he was strolling through his garden when he noticed a baby sparrow who had a broken wing. Without any hesitation, the king took the little bird in his hands and instructed his royal doctor to care for it. The doctor was smiling and said, “Majesty, it’s only a bird.”

The king argued, “If I do not stand for the weak, how can I be sure that I am a fair ruler?”

The sparrow was fine and it flew away joyfully. A long time after that, a very strong storm hit the kingdom. Food was damaged and people were starving. The king then decided to give them food from the palace granaries.

While the king was seated in his garden one evening, a group of sparrows flew right above him. One of them deposited a shiny seed in his hand. In the morning, the seed grew into a magical plant whose fruits were endless.

The kingdom was redeemer and the people were all joyful forever.
