Sharing Is Caring

Sharing Is Caring

Once‍‌‍‍‌ upon a time in a sunny little town there lived two best friends, Riya and Kabir. They usually played together every day, but Riya had a big box of crayons which she never shared with anyone. She thought that if she shared them, they would wear out and become worthless.

Riya and Kabir were drawing in the park one afternoon. Out of the blue, a little girl named Asha came along. She looked at them with longing but she didn’t have any crayons for herself. Kabir without any delay gave her a few of his broken crayons and Asha couldn’t stop smiling.

Riya saw how perfectly Asha was coloring even with those small pieces and that made her feel warm inside. She gradually opened her big crayon box and said, “You can also use my crayons.” Asha grinned and gave her a tight hug.

After that day, Riya thought sharing was great every time— not because her crayons were still long, but because her kindness brought joy to others.

Moral: Sharing makes others happy and it also fills your own heart with joy. Love grows when we share what we ‍‌‍‍‌have.
