The Three Little Pigs

The three little pig-english moral stories

Once upon a time there were three little pigs who lived with their mother. One day, their mother said, “You are all grown up now. It’s time to build your own homes and live on your own.”
The three little pigs said goodbye to their mother with a hug and went out into the world.

First Little Pig – The Straw House

The first little pig saw a man who was carrying a bunch of straw. He asked “Excuse me, could you please give me some straw to make my house?”
The man handed him the straw, and the little pig constructed a house in no time. He was delighted and said “This was so simple! I can now enjoy my rest.”
Yet, the house that he had was not very strong.

Second Little Pig – The Stick House

The second little pig went a bit further and met a man who was collecting sticks. He told the man, “Hello! Would you be so kind as to let me have some sticks to build my house?”
The man handed him the sticks, and the little pig put in more effort than his brother. When he was done, he exclaimed, “My house is definitely stronger than a straw house!”
However, it was still not strong enough.

Third Little Pig – The Brick House

The third pig was very intelligent. He planned to build a house that would be durable. He saw a man carrying bricks and asked to be given some bricks in a polite manner. “Sir, may I please have some bricks to build my house?”
The man agreed, and the pig did not stop the whole day.
He laid the bricks, mixed the cement, and built the walls strong and a roof
tight.
After the job was finished, he grinned and told, “This house will protect me from anything—even a big bad wolf!”

The Big Bad Wolf Arrives

Just after that, a big bad wolf was coming through the forest. He was hungry and saw the first little pig’s straw house.
He knocked on the door and said, “Little pig, little pig, let me come in!” The pig replied, “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!”
So the wolf said, “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!”
And he did! The straw went flying in all directions, and the pig ran to his brother’s stick house.

The Wolf at the Stick House

The wolf trailed and knocked on the stick house door. He repeated the words, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!” The pigs yelled, “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”
Then So the wolf huffed, and puffed, and tore down the stick house by blowing. The pigs both were running as fast as they could to the brick house.

The Brick House Saves the Day

The third little pig invited his brothers into the brick house and then he closed the door with the key.
In a short while, the wolf came. He knocked and told, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”
The pigs answered, “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”
The wolf huffed… and puffed… He huffed and puffed… But he could not blow the brick house down!
He was so mad and shouted, “I’ll come down the chimney!”
Nevertheless, the third little pig had a smart idea. He also put a big pot of boiling water in the fireplace.
When the wolf got down the chimney—SPLASH! He landed right into the hot water, he jumped out yelping, and ran away into the woods!
The pigs were happy and laughed a lot. The wolf never came back.
