Kindness Grows When You Share It – A Short Moral Story

Kindness Grows When You Share It

There‍‌‍‍‌ was a young girl named Tara in a small village. She was passionate about growing flowers in her little garden. A long dry season came one summer and water became a rare commodity. However, Tara continued to use a bit of her water that she had saved every day in order to keep her flowers alive.

One morning, Tara noticed an old woman who seemed very tired and was sitting under a tree. Without doubting it for even a second, she gave a drink from her small water jar to the old woman. The old woman beamed with joy and after blessing Tara, she left.

On the following day, Tara went out of the house and she could not move, in fact, she was so shocked that her garden had grown to twice the size as if by magic. Flowers of bright colors were blossoming all over the place, although she had not watered them.

A voice came from the surroundings around her saying quietly: “Kindness grows like flowers if you continue to share it.

After that day, Tara shared water, food, and kindness with people, even if she only had a little of it. Beauty was her companion everywhere she went, proving that a small deed of kindness has the power to make the whole world ‍‌‍‍‌warm.

Moral: Kindness grows and multiplies when you share it with others.
